Passing of Gold Car Member, Donald "Don" DeWitt

Dear Brothers, Sisters and Kin,

We are grieved to report yesterday’s passing of Gold Car Member, Donald "Don" DeWitt, at the age of 84. Don was initiated into IATSE Stagehands Local 2 Membership on July 24th, 1959.

Don was an outstanding finish carpenter, but throughout his forty year career, he capably worked in virtually every department, and at many Local 2 venues. Don retired in April 1999 and received his Gold Card in Kerins Hall in July 2009.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. We'll provide service information as able.
