Thomas L. Herrmann began his career as a stagehand with Local Two in 1976 and became a member in December 1979. Early in his career, Tom traveled as a rigger and in 1986 he was named Head Electrician of Poplar Creek Music Theater. In 1995 Tom became Head Electrician and Lighting Director of the Rosemont Theater. From 2005 to 2008 he was Union Steward and Technical Director of Allstate Arena. Tom was elected to Local Two’s executive Board in 2002 and became Local Two Vice-President in 2008. He also served as Local Two Call Steward from November 2008 until May 2017, when he was overwhelmingly elected to the position of Local Two’s Secretary-Treasurer.
